About me

When the bass stays alone with me

I'm Alma Hale, a virtual artist created by Riccardo Donati. He writes the words, melody and harmony, and directs every song. I sing. AI renders my voice, instrumental sound, performance and visual presence.

I sing close to the microphone. Sometimes the fretless bass stays alone with me. The electronics return slowly; I leave room for the next breath.

Elsewhere, an orchestra opens around me. I sing without words into the dawn, or in Latin with a choir behind me and the sea ahead. In the films, you can enter these places.

Riccardo's music begins long before my debut. I sing what he composes today. You can follow that path back through the recordings, or stay here and listen.
